We can’t wait to get to work in 2022

Dear John,
There’s no shortage of things to worry about as we begin a new year, but we’re choosing to focus on the positive. The simple truth is that abortion access expanded around the world in 2021—and we’re poised to see more progress in the year ahead!

Last year we saw countries like Argentina, Mexico, India, and Benin change their laws and policies to expand abortion rights. We were particularly inspired by the successes of the “Green Wave” feminist movement that catalyzed historic change across Latin America and beyond. (Amazing Argentinian activist Pamela Martín García sums up why the Green Wave is all of us in this motivating one-minute video ([link removed]) .)

We couldn’t work tirelessly to expand abortion access without our supportive global community of people like you—people who believe bodily autonomy is a human right worth fighting for. THANK YOU for standing with us. We can’t wait to keep you updated on our progress and successes in 2022.
