Dear Friend,

Thanks to the generosity of generous donors just like you, our work is gaining momentum.

Looking ahead to next year, EPPC is gearing up for a year of challenge and opportunity as we work to expose the radical woke agenda, bear witness to the truth, and promote the common good.

As the Supreme Court prepares to hand down a ruling in the Dobbs case ([link removed]) , we need to both make abortion unlawful and unthinkable. We need to prohibit lethal violence in the womb and provide concrete support to women who might have previously made such a choice.

That will require an energetic agenda for supporting mothers and children and will be a significant focus of EPPC’s efforts in 2022.

Should the Supreme Court overturn Roe and Casey, a battle over abortion policy will commence in every state and at the federal level. The pro-life movement needs a roadmap for making the best case for life. Across many of our programs and initiatives, from Ed Whelan’s work on the Constitution and Courts ([link removed]) and Patrick Brown ([link removed]) ’s work developing a pro-family economic agenda, to the HHS Accountability Project ([link removed]) and our recently revitalized Bioethics program ([link removed]) , EPPC is working to provide just that.

To this end, EPPC Visiting Fellow Alexandra DeSanctis ([link removed]) and I are coauthoring a book: Tearing Us Apart: How Abortion Harms Everything and Solves Nothing, due to be published on June 28—around the expected time of the Dobbs decision—to chart the course forward for the pro-life movement. And Erika Bachiochi ([link removed]) is building on momentum ([link removed]) from this year’s publication of The Rights of Women ([link removed]) to make the case for a robust pro-life, pro-woman, pro-family vision.

Strong families are the essential building-block of a healthy society and the best antidote to abortion. On issues from paid leave and child care to health care and the labor market, EPPC Fellows Henry Olsen ([link removed]) and Patrick Brown ([link removed]) will continue to engage policymakers on an economic agenda that puts parents first and charts a winning course for conservative candidates.

Additionally, our scholars and policy experts will continue working in 2022 to advance religious liberty and conscience rights, in the public square and behind the scenes through work with lawmakers.

In 2022, our HHS Accountability Project will focus on responding to forthcoming HHS regulations which would require health-care providers to participate in and administer abortions and medical gender transitions—with no religious freedom exceptions—and will continue working to oppose unlawful COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

As we prepare for a critical year enshrining the dignity of human life in law and standing for our long tradition of civil and religious liberty, any amount you can contribute towards our goal of $250,000 ([link removed]) will help us promote the truth in policy and culture.

Thank you for standing with us to uphold the Judeo-Christian heritage upon which our nation was founded.
