Dear Friend,
Thanks to the generosity of generous donors just like you, our work is gaining momentum.
Looking ahead to next year, EPPC is gearing up for a year of challenge and opportunity as we work to expose the radical woke agenda, bear witness to the truth, and promote the common good.
As the Supreme Court prepares to hand down a ruling in the Dobbs case, we need to both make abortion unlawful and unthinkable. We need to prohibit lethal violence in the womb and provide concrete support to women who might have previously made such a choice.
That will require an energetic agenda for supporting mothers and children and will be a significant focus of EPPC’s efforts in 2022.
Should the Supreme Court overturn Roe and Casey, a battle over abortion policy will commence in every state and at the federal level. The pro-life movement needs a roadmap for making the best case for life. Across many of our programs and initiatives, from Ed Whelan’s work on the Constitution and Courts and Patrick Brown’s work developing a pro-family economic agenda, to the HHS Accountability Project and our recently revitalized Bioethics program, EPPC is working to provide just that.
To this end, EPPC Visiting Fellow Alexandra DeSanctis and I are coauthoring a book: Tearing Us Apart: How Abortion Harms Everything and Solves Nothing, due to be published on June 28—around the expected time of the Dobbs decision—to chart the course forward for the pro-life movement. And Erika Bachiochi is building on momentum from this year’s publication of The Rights of Women to make the case for a robust pro-life, pro-woman, pro-family vision.
