Kentucky just did the unthinkable and elected a Democratic governor — showing that when a strong candidate is on the ballot, Democrats can defeat incumbent Republicans in the reddest areas.

That means Mitch McConnell is next on the chopping block.

Amy McGrath is a former Marine fighter pilot who is running to unseat him because Kentucky deserves someone committed to fighting for them, not special interests.

What we just witnessed proves Democrats can flip Kentucky, and Amy is the person we can count on to do it. But she’ll need our help.

Mitch McConnell has made a career out of blocking just about every progressive bill that comes his way and turning the Senate into a legislative graveyard. In fact, he calls himself the Grim Reaper!

Instead of doing right by the American people, McConnell has continued his work to rip health care away from millions of Americans, rush through Trump’s right-wing judges to the bench, and stall meaningful action on the climate crisis. But if this victory showed us anything, it’s that we have what it takes to stop him for good.
