I was really hoping I wouldn't have to send this email
today, John.

In an ideal scenario, we'd be much closer to hitting our critical
end-of-year goal, and it'd be smooth sailing through the holiday season
from now til our December 31 FEC deadline. But it's my job as Deputy
Campaign Manager to let you know that's simply not the case right now.

We have about five days left until our deadline, which may seem like a lot
of time. But with so many folks (rightfully) spending this holiday season
focusing on their loved ones instead of their inbox, we have to be more
aggressive about meeting our end-of-year goal.

So here's how we close this gap over the next few days: If even half of
the people reading this decided to chip in, we'd reach our $2 million
end-of-quarter FEC fundraising goal with time to spare.

John and Gisele are really counting on you to be one of the grassroots

The reality we're facing right now is that we're still pretty far behind
where we'd really hoped to be, with just a few days to go until our last
deadline of 2021.

The reason this deadline is so important is that it’s not just a
reflection of the momentum we’ve gained this year, but a demonstration of
our grassroots power in a race against self-funders like Dr. Oz. We can't
afford to come up even a few bucks short of our $2 million end-of-quarter
goal, and that means putting in the work now, before folks log off for New
Years.
