Dear John,
I know I've reached out a few times
this week, but there's a very urgent reason. Actually, three reasons:
* One is that Alzheimer's disease is a public health crisis that
will cost the nation $355 billion in 2021 alone - and as
much as $1.1 trillion by 2050.
* The second is that hope is on the horizon - in the form of
more than 750 active best-of-field research projects in 39
countries around the globe.
* And the third is that a generous donor who wishes to remain
anonymous, but who is committed to pushing our fight forward,
has pledged to match all gifts, up to $200,000 -

if we raise the same amount by December 31.
With their matching gift, this donor
will support the Tau Pipeline Enabling Program (T-PEP), a funding
initiative to accelerate drug development breakthroughs that could
help mitigate the toxic effects of tau protein "tangles" in
the brain. Because tau tangles are implicated in a number of
neurodegenerative disorders, the research made possible by T-PEP could
potentially benefit individuals living with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's
disease, frontotemporal dementia and more.
But I've noticed you haven't yet taken
advantage of this special $200,000 Holiday Match Challenge and wanted
to give you a chance to make your gift go twice as far to provide care
and support, and accelerate crucial Alzheimer's research.

But that's not all. By making your
holiday gift today, you'll help to make sure no one faces Alzheimer's
alone - so please rush your first gift now.
