$768 billion dollars. That is how much we are willing to spend on defense
spending — $24 billion more than the Pentagon or President Biden
requested.

Budgets are
moral documents. They are a clear indication of our values and priorities
as a nation. If we can afford billions in defense spending, we can and
must invest in our communities and pass the Build Back Better Act.
