We are excited to have such a strong and clear statement for ranked choice voting (RCV) and proportional representation for multi-member seats. We are continuing to work for RCV with the state legislature in Annapolis. Legislation has already been drafted (MC 13-22) to allow Montgomery County to use RCV in county-wide elections. Montgomery is Maryland's most populous county, so having RCV would help it to spread. Because the state legislature must give permission, please contact your legislators no matter where in Maryland you live.
If you would like to be involved in the Green Party in any way, small or large, at the local, state, or national level, please contact us at

Yours for a Green future,
