Heritage President: China Unfit to Host 2022 Olympics <[link removed]> – While the administration’s
diplomatic boycott is certainly a welcome and necessary step, this should be the absolute bare minimum when it comes to holding China accountable for its malfeasance. A diplomatic boycott ensures that U.S. government officials will not tacitly condone Beijing's horrific human rights violations and myriad other ways that China is undermining international security and economic freedom, while still ensuring the safe participation of American athletes in the most prestigious international sporting event. The Biden administration should be mobilizing a bipartisan, international coalition across governments and civil society to increase transparency at the International Olympic Committee, amplify coverage of human rights violations, and encourage athletes to stand in solidarity with those suffering at the hands of the CCP. DOJ Has No Evidence TX Voters Are Being Denied Access <[link removed]>– Given its record, the public should be suspicious and highly skeptical of any
claims made by the partisan Garland Justice Department over Texas redistricting plans supposedly violating the Voting Rights Act. The DOJ has produced no evidence that any voters in Texas are being denied access to the political process. Federal courts will require the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department to produce actual evidence of discrimination and will not look favorably on a partisan use of the Voting Rights Act to further the political objectives of the political allies of the Biden administration. The Civil Rights Division has a sordid history of abusing the law for political reasons to benefit the Democratic Party. Heritage Expert: Hans Von Spakovsky <[link removed]>
The Biden Administration Is Set To Make Dangerous Abortion Pills More Widely
Available <[link removed]> – Chemical abortions subject women to serious health and safety risks, and abandoning current FDA safety measure will endanger <[link removed]> women even further. Policymakers, particularly at the state level, must prepare for the Biden administration to soon prioritize expanding chemical abortion over the health and safety of women and unborn children. Heritage Expert on Jobs Report: ‘Build Back Better’ Will Discourage More Americans From
Working <[link removed]> – Welfare-without-work policies are handicapping the work force, and Build Back Better will discourage even more people from
working—potentially pushing up <[link removed]> to 8.7 million <[link removed]> Americans out of work. Meanwhile, President Biden’s unlawful
COVID vaccine mandate threatens to force employers to lay off workers who do remain. “More regulations that make it harder for businesses to hire the workers they need, and more welfare-without-work benefits, higher taxes, and more deficit-financed government spending will all make the current labor shortage and price increases worse. 4 Problems With Left’s Hypocritical Plan to Give Wealthy Constituents a Bigger SALT
Deduction <[link removed]> – The Senate Should Reject This Effort to Centralize Control Over Individuals and State Governments. Increasing the SALT deduction cap would add insult to injury for supporters of limited government. The rest of the Build Back Better Act would expand the role of the federal government <[link removed]> in virtually every area <[link removed]> of American life <[link removed]>. A higher SALT deduction would encourage one-size-fits-all big government at the state level, too. Heritage Expert: Preston Brashers <[link removed]>
