This Giving Tuesday, I’d like to highlight an organization I’m proud to be part of that is working to transform the lives of girls on and off the ice through academics, leadership and, of course, figure skating. Figure Skating Detroit (FSD) [[link removed]] prepares girls and young women daily for the skills and character building they need to succeed in life. FSD is important to so many girls' lives as it helps them grow in confidence, leadership and academic achievement. [link removed] [[link removed]] Figure skating is all about learning how to dust yourself off, get back up and try again, and to never give up, even in the face of adversity.
