Today, we’re excited to introduce you to our third artist spotlight: Wanees Zarour! [[link removed]]

Wanees is a Palestinian-American composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, Director of the Middle East Music Ensemble at the University of Chicago (MEME), Co-Director of the Chicago Immigrant Orchestra, and leader of The East Loop. Wanees has led and grown the Middle East Music Ensemble (MEME) for the past 11 years. His approach is to build a cohesive community that ensures participants feel that their contributions matter.
