I am the son of a single immigrant mother. My family did not have a lot of extra money growing up.

I lived on the economic edge and relied on food assistance.

But thanks to hard work and support from my community I was accepted into Harvard, and eventually, made my way to Congress.

I didn’t make it this far without help.

I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the help of my teachers, neighbors, and communities.

Now, I’m asking for your help. I ran for Congress to ensure others get ahead, defeat Republicans’ disgusting plans, and keep the power with Democrats.
