I’m asking: Will you sign your name to help me prove Democrats have what it takes to keep a hold of Congress? I need 10,000 endorsements to show Republicans they cannot steal our hard-earned majorities with their vile schemes. If I don’t gather the necessary support by my midnight deadline, the GOP will use it to prove that they can FLIP House and Senate seats. I can’t let that happen. This is why your endorsement would mean so much to me in this critical moment. >>
I normally reach out to ask you for money.
But right now -- what I need more than anything -- is your official endorsement. >>
First, I hope you’ll allow me to earn it:
I am the son of a single immigrant mother. My family did not have a lot of extra money growing up.
I lived on the economic edge and relied on food assistance.
But thanks to hard work and support from my community I was accepted into Harvard, and eventually, made my way to Congress.
I didn’t make it this far without help.
I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the help of my teachers, neighbors, and communities.
Now, I’m asking for your help. I ran for Congress to ensure others get ahead, defeat Republicans’ disgusting plans, and keep the power with Democrats. Because I believe no matter what road you start down, you deserve a path to success. I’m humbly asking 10,000 Democrats to sign their name, lend their endorsement, and help me prove we have what it takes to keep the GOP from stealing our majorities. Can I count on your signature? >>
If I don’t gather the necessary support by my midnight deadline, Republicans will use it against us and it will prove that they have the power to flip our seats. We can’t let that happen.
The people of our district, and all Americans, deserve better than that.
I know you need leaders who will fight for your interests in Congress.
So I promise you this: I will continue to have your back every single day in Congress. But right now, I need you to have mine with your personal endorsement. Will you sign your name and help me reach 10,000 endorsements before midnight? >>
Thank you,
Ruben Gallego
