Earlier this week, I was at the White House with my friend and colleague, Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan, to witness President Biden sign the once-in-a-lifetime bipartisan infrastructure bill into law.

This bill makes investments not only in Ohio’s infrastructure but in Ohio workers, too. It’ll help fix our highways and bridges, expand broadband access to more households, ensure access to clean drinking water, and create good-paying jobs along the way, that can't be shipped overseas.

Together, Tim and I fought for the strongest Buy America rules in history that will ensure these projects use American-made products, made by American workers. It means we create jobs not only doing construction, but throughout Ohio's supply chains.

This race is going to be tough though.

Only one seat stands between Mitch McConnell and control of the Senate. The Washington Post says the path for the GOP “runs through the Ohio Senate race,” and polls show no matter who Tim is up against -- whether it’s Josh Mandel, J.D. Vance, or Jane Timken -- this race is a dead heat.

This grassroots community knows what it takes to win tough races in Ohio. With your support, I’ve won three Senate races here, and we did it by talking about the Dignity of Work to Ohioans in every corner of the state. That’s what Tim is doing, too.
