Earlier this week, I was at the White House with my friend and colleague, Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan, to witness President Biden sign the once-in-a-lifetime bipartisan infrastructure bill into law.

This bill makes investments not only in Ohio’s infrastructure but in Ohio workers, too. It’ll help fix our highways and bridges, expand broadband access to more households, ensure access to clean drinking water, and create good-paying jobs along the way, that can't be shipped overseas.

Together, Tim and I fought for the strongest Buy America rules in history that will ensure these projects use American-made products, made by American workers. It means we create jobs not only doing construction, but throughout Ohio's supply chains.

This race is going to be tough though.
