Angie has always been an ally to me in Congress in the fight to protect working families — especially those in rural parts of our country. And because of our work together, the infrastructure legislation we just passed will invest billions of dollars into expanding rural broadband access, a fight Angie has championed for years.

Her commitment to serving the people of Minnesota is something that inspires my work daily. She and I entered Congress as part of the “rainbow wave,” with Angie being the first openly gay mother and me being the first LGBTQ+ Native woman elected.

But as we’ve worked hard to deliver on the promises we made to our communities, the NRCC has made it clear they’re coming after us and doing everything they can to defeat us. We cannot let them succeed, and we need to make sure we can fight off their attacks.
