The greed of pharmaceutical companies is killing Americans.
In the United States, drug companies can charge any price they want for
prescription drugs. So they do. And as a result, we pay the highest prices
in the world, by far, for the medicines we use.
There is perhaps not a single medication that is more egregious in its
pricing than insulin. In fact, 25 percent of people that need insulin to
survive are forced to ration it.
Our health care system is rigged to provide massive pharmaceutical
companies with billions of dollars in profits each year at the expense of
everyone else, and that needs to change.

enough food to eat.
Congress cannot continue to prioritize the interests of Big Pharma over
the needs of the people.
The American people didn't vote in overwhelming numbers to give Democrats
a majority just so they could cave to the demands of Big Pharma's endless
greed.
If Democrats want to be the party of working families, they need to stand
up to Big Pharma and stop them from artificially keeping the price of
life-saving medications, like insulin, out of reach for working people.
No one should be forced to ration the insulin they need to live.
