** Seeking Spanish & English speakers for worker’s rights hotline

DSA SB is setting up a workers hotline so local workers can call for advice about workplace grievances and learn how to organize their workplace and exercise their rights. All help is welcome, but we are particularly in need of people to take Spanish calls since such an enormous portion of the local working class here are monolingual Spanish speakers.

If you're a bilingual English/Spanish speaker (or even if you're not) and able to volunteer some time for this hotline or want more info about what this project entails, email us! [email protected]

Healthcare Workgroup Meeting

In this meeting we'll talk about canvassing and text-banking opportunities to fight for universal healthcare in California (passage of AB1400). Anyone interested in getting guaranteed healthcare for everyone living in California through canvassing and text-banking should join this meeting.
