Dear John,

The majestic Boundary Waters Wilderness is an iconic national – and international – public lands treasure. Did you know the Boundary Waters is one of only fourteen “International Dark Sky Sanctuaries” - making it one of the most naturally dark places on earth, void of artificial lights?

The Boundary Waters is the largest National Wilderness Area east of the Rockies and north of the Everglades. It is America’s most popular Wilderness, drawing people from every state and many other countries. It offers 1200 miles of canoe routes, 237 miles of overnight hiking trails, 2,000 campsites, and unlimited opportunities for high-quality backcountry fishing, wildlife watching, and year-round recreational activities.

These are just a few of the things that make the Boundary Waters special and worth protecting from toxic mining. You can help protect this unique landscape during the Biden administration’s official 90-day public comment period by simply writing a short comment! [[link removed]]
