Dear John,
The majestic Boundary Waters Wilderness is an iconic public lands treasure. Did you know the Boundary Waters is one of only fourteen “International Dark Sky Sanctuaries” - making it one of the most naturally dark places on earth, void of artificial lights?
These are just a few of the things that make the Boundary Waters special and worth protecting from toxic mining. You can help protect this unique landscape during the Biden administration’s official 90-day public comment period by simply writing a short comment! Start by joining us TOMORROW, November 4th, from 6:30-8 pm to hear recent updates from the Campaign to Save the BWCA and tips on how to write your public comment to the administration. You’ll hear from Campaign Manager Alex Falconer, plus local mushroom foraging expert Olena Johnson who teaches mushroom foraging at the Ely Folk School!
Already submitted a comment? You can still join! You can submit more than once during this federal comment period, and we need as many as we can get over the next few months! What: Virtual Comment Writing & Mushroom Foraging Webinar P.S. Join us TOMORROW, Thursday, November 4, for a virtual Comment Writing & Mushroom Foraging Webinar! SIGN UP HERE.
