Fellow American,

As a kid growing up in the small town of Wrightsville, Georgia, I never
thought I would be interviewing for a job like the one I'm writing to you about
now.

While I am a candidate for the United States Senate, the truth is that this
race is about so much more than me. The 2022 Senate race in Georgia is even
bigger than either political party.

This race is about the future of America.

Right now, there is a change afoot. Some change happens incrementally, and
some change happens overnight. Sometimes we blink and miss it. Georgia has
changed a lot over the course of my life, mainly because folks from all around
the country have flocked here becauseRepublicans have done such a good job
running the state that everyone wants to live here.

I took a long time to decide whether to enter the race. We counted the costs.

When you run for elected office, it can be hard on the candidate and family.
But Fellow American, at the end of the day, I'm willing to sacrifice everything
I have for America. I love this country too much to stand on the sidelines and
watch it go down the wrong path.

That's why I decided to run for political office – despite not being a
politician myself.
