Asphalt Art Projects Coming to 26 New Cities

After transforming nearly 86,500 square feet of streets in 16 U.S. cities
since 2020, our Asphalt Art program is expanding to 26 new American cities.
"Asphalt Art projects help cities reclaim public spaces, make them brighter and
safer, and build community — all important goals, especially amid the

Introducing the Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation

Last week, we partnered with Johns Hopkins University to launch the Bloomberg
Center for Public Innovation. With a $43 million dollar investment, it will be
a hub and resource for city leaders to receive specialized training in creative
problem solving in local government, and will also conduct research on the
impact of these practices. The Center will serve as the home for several
flagship Bloomberg Philanthropies Government Innovation programs.

The Met Opera is Coming Live in HD to Theaters

10 productions from the 2021–2022 season to cinemas around the world. This

photojournalists to document projects in each of the 50 Champion Cities. Above,
Sedrick Burton of the Jones Valley Teaching Farm in Birmingham, Alabama, is
