Although mass shootings and police violence tend to periodically awaken our collective consciousness to the horror of gun violence in America, gun violence in the form of domestic violence, suicide, interpersonal violence, police violence, and unintentional shootings occurs day in and day out in our communities. Since our founding nine years ago, we’ve helped pass more than 30 gun safety bills in the legislature and three ballot initiatives. We’ve also proudly partnered with community-led violence intervention groups to host community events, amplify their efforts, and secure funding on their behalf at the state and federal level.

Right now, we’re laying the groundwork to make even more progress in 2022. Because we know that we can’t afford to take our foot off the gas.
