Although mass shootings and police violence tend to periodically awaken our collective consciousness to the horror of gun violence in America, gun violence in the form of domestic violence, suicide, interpersonal violence, police violence, and unintentional shootings occurs day in and day out in our communities. At the Alliance, we are committed to fighting gun violence in ALL its forms.

Since our founding nine years ago, we’ve helped pass more than 30 gun safety bills in the legislature and three ballot initiatives. We’ve also proudly partnered with community-led violence intervention groups to host community events, amplify their efforts, and secure funding on their behalf at the state and federal level.
