Dear reader,

We know you love a good Pittsburgh story! Come celebrate storytelling and local journalism with us.

Please join PublicSource for the “My Story is the Pittsburgh Story ([link removed][UNIQID]) ,” event on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Ace Hotel in East Liberty.

It's not a panel. It's not a lecture. Instead, you'll hear from your neighbors who had the courage to share their stories with all of us in essays published on PublicSource.org ([link removed][UNIQID]) .

Meet these courageous, talented and all around extraordinary people who are making our community better: Andrea Barber ([link removed][UNIQID]) , Zack Block ([link removed][UNIQID]) , Rosamaria Cristello ([link removed][UNIQID]) , Jamie Kunning ([link removed][UNIQID]) and Heather Tomko ([link removed][UNIQID]) .

The event will take place during NewsMatch, a national matching-gift campaign that drives donations to nonprofit newsrooms (like us!) from Nov. 1 - Dec. 31.

Five dollars of each $25 event ticket ([link removed][UNIQID]) will count toward a PublicSource membership and will support our reporting. You'll also enjoy tasty appetizers and one complimentary beer or wine.

So, come on out and meet local writers and advocates working on issues of economic development, equity, immigrant inclusion, mental health and accessibility. If you have any questions, please reply back.

Seating is limited; get your tickets today ([link removed][UNIQID]) !
