Earlier this year, Congressman Alcee Hastings sadly passed away.
The Democratic primary to choose his successor is Nov 2nd -- in just 2
weeks -- and because this district is super-blue, the winner will be
elected to Congress in the January 11th special election. They'll be
seated immediately.
