Earlier this year, Congressman Alcee Hastings sadly passed away.

The Democratic primary to choose his successor is Nov 2nd -- in just 2 weeks -- and because this district is super-blue, the winner will be elected to Congress in the January 11th special election. They'll be seated immediately.

We've endorsed a transformational bold progressive legislator named Omari Hardy -- and so did the Orlando Sun Sentinel recently. They said:

Primaries matter: Just weeks ago, 10 obstructionist House Democrats nearly derailed the Democratic agenda. Only 2 came from swing-seat districts. Many of those corporate-aligned obstructionists won primaries in districts Democrats won by 12, 18, even 40 points!
