That’s why I’m excited to invite you to NIAC’s Open Mic Night on Thursday, October 28 at 4pm PT/7pm ET with Professor Fatemeh Keshavarz! [[link removed]]
Dr. Keshavarz , the Roshan Chair of Persian Studies at the University of Maryland [[link removed]] , will kick off the event with a discussion about the significance of classical Persian poetry in the everyday lives of Iranian Americans. An acclaimed poet, Professor Keshavarz has also received numerous accolades including the Peabody Award [[link removed]] and the Hershel Walker Peace and Justice Award.
