We’re well into autumn, and our Open Mics are going strong! 

That’s why I’m excited to invite you to NIAC’s Open Mic Night on Thursday, October 28 at 4pm PT/7pm ET with Professor Fatemeh Keshavarz! 

Dr. Keshavarz, the Roshan Chair of Persian Studies at the University of Maryland, will kick off the event with a discussion about the significance of classical Persian poetry in the everyday lives of Iranian Americans. An acclaimed poet, Professor Keshavarz has also received numerous accolades including the Peabody Award and the Hershel Walker Peace and Justice Award.
