John, today I’m going to ask you to contribute $3 to my Democratic campaign to become the first woman of color elected to statewide office in Virginia — but first, let me explain how personal this race is to me. [[link removed]]

I understand the issues because I’ve lived them.

When I was 2 years old, I lost my birth father to gun violence. Growing up, my family struggled to make ends meet. And when I became a young mother, my job didn’t offer any health insurance. Thankfully, my son and I qualified for Medicaid, which ended up saving his life.

I'm a Virginia delegate, a cyber-security expert, a single mom — and this November, I'll be Virginia’s first Afro-Latina woman and mom as Lieutenant Governor.

I believe our Commonwealth thrives when everyone has a seat at the table, and I’m running for office to make that happen.

I’m ready to get to work, but I can’t do it without you, John.
Will you chip in $3 today to help fund my historic campaign? We need to reach our 300 donor goal by midnight, and with Election Day just days away, every dollar counts! [[link removed]]
