$100,000 Fall Matching Gift Challenge

[link removed]

Dear John,

Millions of Americans have lost loved
ones to Alzheimer's. One of them is Tom Detelich, whose mother,
Ljubica ("Luby"), died from the disease after a brave
10-year battle.

Now, Tom and his wife, Diane, have
generously offered to match every gift until October 15, up to a total
of $100,000, in our $100,000 Fall Matching Gift Challenge.

Their gift will support an awareness
campaign for their local Alzheimer's Association chapter, while yours
can go twice as far to advance research and provide care and support
to people living with Alzheimer's.

"When my mother got sick, the
brutal understanding that we were going to lose her was overwhelming.
We didn't yet understand the impact her illness would have on the
entire family, but we did understand there was no cure," Tom told
us.

Until there's a cure, research must
continue, and care and support services are urgently needed as well.
That's why I'm urging you to make a gift during our $100,000 Fall
Matching Gift Challenge.

Only gifts received by October
15 are eligible for this match opportunity, so please give now. When
you do, your support can go 2X as far:

$16 can become $32.

$30 can become $60.

$50 can become $100.

Double my gift now.

You don't have to be a scientist or a
researcher to help lead the way in this fight. Each time you give, you
achieve a powerful impact. I appreciate the interest you've shown in
our work, and I hope we'll be able to count on your financial support
as well.

When you give to the Alzheimer's
Association, you help advance our mission to lead the way to end
Alzheimer's and all other dementia - by accelerating global
research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing
quality care and support.

Your gift today, which can be matched
for twice the impact, could make all the difference in helping us meet
our $100,000 goal. Your contribution will also enhance care and
support resources and accelerate research toward methods of treatment,
prevention and, ultimately, a cure.

Many people have been touched by
Alzheimer's disease. We've lost friends, coworkers, neighbors and
family members.

I'm thinking about the people who are
living with this disease today and how, thanks to you, we continue to
ensure that no one has to face Alzheimer's alone. It's because of
people like you that our care and support services to families living
with Alzheimer's have not wavered.

"My family was blessed to have
people and resources to help my family deal with 10 years of
Alzheimer's," Tom said.

We know you're counting on us to win
the fight to end Alzheimer's - and we are counting on you to
help. Please take advantage of this incredible match challenge -
donate today. Thank you.
