Dear John,
Depending on where you live in
America, fall can mean crisp autumn leaves, cooler weather, football
games on the weekends, and even starting to make your holiday plans.
It's also the time for our exciting
$100,000 Fall Matching Gift Challenge, which starts today - and
it's your opportunity to achieve

2X the impact.
Two generous supporters who share your
commitment, Tom Detelich and his wife, Diane, have generously offered
to match every gift, up to a total of $100,000, until October 15, in
honor of Tom's mother Ljubica ("Luby"), who died after
living with Alzheimer's disease for 10 years.

Their gift will support an awareness
campaign for their local Alzheimer's Association chapter, while yours
can go twice as far to advance research and provide care and support
to people living with Alzheimer's.
Please make a gift that can go twice
as far in our fight against Alzheimer's.

Any gift you make by October 15, up to
$100,000, can help us achieve this match challenge and go 2X as far in
our work to combat this devastating disease. You can help us reach
our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.

And that's critical. Alzheimer's is
the nation's largest under-recognized public health crisis, killing
more people than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined.

Tom's family have been caregivers to
his mother and he says, "Unless you have been through this with a
close family member, you can't imagine the impact on the whole family.
Only Mom was sick, but the day-to-day lives of everyone close to her
changed."
Millions of families living with
Alzheimer's need our help now to advance research and provide support
for caregivers. We must be there for them, and we're counting on you.

Tom has experienced our support
firsthand. He says, "I found comfort and gained helpful
understanding in talking to their experts. While the feeling of
helplessness didn't end altogether, at least we felt like we were
doing something to change the future."
You can help change the future today.
Please make a gift now that can go 2X as far.
