Politico: Democrats' House targets vanish as GOP redraws new maps | Many of the districts Democrats have contested in recent elections will become safer Republican holds under new GOP-drawn congressional maps.

John,

According to Politico , GOP mapmakers are redrawing congressional districts to favor Republicans, making it even harder for Democrats to compete and narrowing our already slim path to maintain our House majority in 2022.

Just recently, GOP lawmakers in Indiana unveiled a congressional plan to transform the state’s most competitive district (IN-05) into a solid red seat by excluding voters in a Democratic area.

As the district’s 2020 Democratic nominee, Christina Hale, said about Democrats’ chances in the area: "The deck is stacked. We probably won't see a real race for a number of years."

If this doesn’t scare you, it should.

But there is hope, John.

We already have the seats to win. Now we need to defend them. So Shield PAC is at work to counter Republicans’ toxic and malicious lies, and stop them in their tracks as they attempt to dismantle our democracy through fear mongering and election misinformation. We must protect vulnerable members of our Democratic House majority.

But to do that, we need to have the resources to create and target ads to get the truth out about the GOP’s dirty tactics to voters everywhere. Will you rush a donation of $5, $25, or any amount to strengthen our efforts to protect our House majority?
