According to Politico, GOP mapmakers are redrawing congressional districts to favor Republicans, making it even harder for Democrats to compete and narrowing our already slim path to maintain our House majority in 2022.
Just recently, GOP lawmakers in Indiana unveiled a congressional plan to transform the state's most competitive district (IN-05) into a solid red seat by excluding voters in a Democratic area.
As the district's 2020 Democratic nominee, Christina Hale, said about Democrats' chances in the area: "The deck is stacked. We probably won't see a real race for a number of years."
If this doesn't scare you, it should.
But there is hope, John.
We already have the seats to win. Now we need to defend them.
