Our country's infrastructure is out of date and failing us. And unlike
some lawmakers, it's an issue that Jamaal is intimately familiar with.

In NY-16, infrastructure like streets, bridges, and roads were built over
100 years ago. After Hurricane Ida this summer, our community lost 50
lives due to the storms’ impact. Countless other homes, places of worship,
and small businesses were flooded and destroyed. Families are still
recovering from the disaster.

The writing on the wall is clearer than ever: We must invest in our
infrastructure now with big, bold policy and legislation, and pass the
$3.5 trillion reconciliation bill. Jamaal has been an outspoken advocate
for this from the start, and continues to hold accountable and call out
establishment politicians like Senator Joe Manchin who hold us back.

No matter what, Jamaal will continue to hold the establishment accountable
and bring the progressive perspective to Washington. And
John, the stronger third quarter
fundraising we can post to the FEC, the more powerful of a message we send
to the special interests who are hoping to see our movement lose steam.
