Abbott Blasts Biden Over Border Crisis: 'It's Total Chaos,'
'They Need To Up Their Game, Big Time'
What Happened:
Amid an explosion of migrants along the southern border this week, Texas
Gov. Greg Abbott slammed the Biden Administration for its inaction.
Why You Should Care:
The southern border crisis has continued unabated since President Biden
took office, and Gov. Abbott has had enough of the federal government

is an incapability of dealing with this crisis, candidly in a way where
they pretend it doesn't even exist."

Why You Should Care:

dissatisfaction with his responses to multiple crises - most notably the
Afghanistan withdrawal, the southern border crisis, and his inability to
get COVID-19 under control.
What Happens Next:
This is a bad sign for Democrats hoping to maintain power in the 2022
midterm elections, and they are beginning to worry about the direction
their party is headed.

'People are going to die': Governors, lawmakers rip Biden rationing of
COVID treatment as partisan
What Happened:
Republican lawmakers and governors are calling out the Biden
Administration for cutting off supplies of the life-saving monoclonal
antibody treatment for COVID-19 in their states.
Why You Should Care:
The move by the Biden Administration to restrict access to the treatment
has confounded the Republican lawmakers, who were promised the exact
opposite - a ramping up of shipments from the federal government.
