What Happened:
Amid an explosion of migrants along the southern border this week, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott slammed the Biden Administration for its inaction.
Why You Should Care:
The southern border crisis has continued unabated since President Biden took office, and Gov. What Happens Next:
In addition to Gov. Abbott, Republican governors from around the country are urging the Biden Administration to finally do its duty and take concrete steps to secure the border. Hopefully, President Biden will finally listen.

What Happened:
Republican lawmakers and governors are calling out the Biden Administration for cutting off supplies of the life-saving monoclonal antibody treatment for COVID-19 in their states.
Why You Should Care:
The move by the Biden Administration to restrict access to the treatment has confounded the Republican lawmakers, who were promised the exact opposite - a ramping up of shipments from the federal government.
What Happens Next:
Republicans in states that rely on monoclonal antibody treatments aren’t giving up. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis: "...We're going to fight like hell to make sure that our folks get what they need."
