You can draw a straight line connecting the January 6 insurrection and Republican lies about "election fraud" to voter suppression and gerrymandering. These are all ways to sow discord and chip away at our democracy -- in a desperate attempt to hang on to political power.

And if we don't fight with everything we have, these tactics could work.

1. GOP Congress members have refused to investigate the January 6 insurrection, and some are even lying about what happened that day.

2. Republicans who repeat Donald Trump's Big Lie are running for offices that would give them control over elections.

3. At least 18 states have passed at least 30 laws in 2021 to restrict who can vote and how.

4. And in states like Texas, Nebraska, and Ohio -- with more to come -- Republicans have brazenly proposed manipulated maps!

Each of these puzzle pieces fit into a larger strategy to subvert democracy and ensure continued minority rule by Republicans. John, we need to fight back before it's too late. Can you pitch in to help the NDRC defend democracy?
