John,
In my district, there is an issue that keeps coming up again and again: The high cost of prescription drugs.
I have heard stories from constituents who felt forced to choose between their medications and other essentials. Americans pay some of the highest prices in the world for prescription drugs ā but it does not have to be this way.
That is why I introduced H.R. 4669, the Maximizing Drug Coverage for Low-Income Seniors Act, to improve the Medicare enrollment process and lower out-of-pocket costs. Iām also supporting H.R. 3, the Lower Drug Costs Now Act, which would establish a fair price negotiation program, protect the Medicare program from excessive price increases, and establish an out-of-pocket maximum for Medicare part D enrollees.
Will you join me in urging my colleagues in Congress to immediately pass legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs? [[link removed]]
