John,
In my district, there is an issue that keeps coming up again and again: The high cost of prescription drugs.
I have heard stories from constituents who felt forced to choose between their medications and other essentials. Americans pay some of the highest prices in the world for prescription drugs – but it does not have to be this way.
That is why I introduced H.R. 4669, the Maximizing Drug Coverage for Low-Income Seniors Act, to improve the Medicare enrollment process and lower out-of-pocket costs. I’m also supporting H.R. 3, the Lower Drug Costs Now Act, which would establish a fair price negotiation program, protect the Medicare program from excessive price increases, and establish an out-of-pocket maximum for Medicare part D enrollees.
Will you join me in urging my colleagues in Congress to immediately pass legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs?
When too many Americans are struggling to afford their medications – we have to act!
John, join us and sign the petition to tell Congress: we need to pass legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs.
Thanks for joining us to call for this important legislation.
