This is an all hands on deck moment, John:
Texas Tribune: "Texas Senate opens redistricting debate with proposed map one senator calls 'intentional discrimination' "
We knew getting fair maps in Texas would be a battle, and so far Republicans are proving us right. Their proposed state Senate map:
-- Has ZERO competitive seats
-- Ignores the fact that Texas's population growth came from people of color and was centered in urban and suburban communities
-- Cracks apart urban centers like Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio
It's an abomination -- and we need your immediate help to show we will not accept this in Texas or anywhere in the country.
Quick, can you pitch in to help us inform voters, mobilize advocates, and hold Republicans accountable in Texas and elsewhere?
