If enacted, the U.S. bipartisan infrastructure deal and the budget reconciliation bill would be the most important climate legislation package in U.S. history. In a new article, WRI’s CEO and President Ani Dasgupta and WRI U.S. Director Dan Lashof argue that to make the policies as impactful as possible and ensure long-term success, the reconciliation package should also include a price on carbon.
