In a blatantly undemocratic move, ex-NRB member Fred Prehn refuses to vacate his expired seat, despite a qualified replacement appointed by Gov. Tony Evers.
The NRB plays a significant role in agenda setting and decision making for the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and should not be subject to political grandstanding.

His continued presence on the NRB recently led to a decision that threatens Wisconsin’s wolf population. Now, we’re concerned he will block the DNR’s ability to protect your drinking water from toxic contaminants like dangerous PFAS.
