In a blatantly undemocratic move, ex-NRB member Fred Prehn refuses to vacate his expired seat, despite a qualified replacement appointed by Gov. Tony Evers.

The NRB plays a significant role in agenda setting and decision making for the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and should not be subject to political grandstanding.
