Folks, we’re on the verge of passing urgent climate legislation that would drastically reduce carbon emissions and create good-paying jobs. It’s a huge step toward a clean-energy future.

I’m fighting for a rebate program to help folks affordably electrify their homes and vehicles, and for a clean-energy standard. This fight is personal to me. I want to leave my two sons with the New Mexico lands and waters I love so much, and keep our planet livable for everyone.

We need to get this right. I’m treating it like our last chance to make a real difference in the fight against climate change — because it very well could be.

I rallied with conservation leaders outside the Capitol last week to demand immediate action on climate from my colleagues. Then, I went straight to work to make these calls to action a reality.

But Republicans are doing everything they can to block meaningful action, and I’m counting on your support to keep up this fight. Will you chip in any amount to help power my work?

Thanks for your support. Each and every dollar adds up and makes a difference for New Mexico and our planet.
