Democrats need to stand up to a bloated defense budget, because the bottom
line is that we can use that money right here at home. Yet just days after
the U.S. ended our 20-year war in Afghanistan, a key House committee voted
to dump an extra $24 billion into defense spending — beyond what President
Biden AND military leaders requested. 

We can’t overflow the Pentagon’s budget and pad the pockets of military
contractor CEOs when families across the country are struggling to find
work, pay bills, and put food on the table. 

Ro knows that his courage on this issue has the support of his district
and many Americans across our nation, and he’ll never cave to pressure to
sign off on unnecessary defense budget increases. But there’s never been a
