John,

Social Venture Circle and the American Sustainable Business Council invite you to join us on Wednesday, September 22nd at 1pm ET for “Breaking Down Barriers: Making The Future Of Food Available To Everyone Today ([link removed]) ” - an interactive webinar with author, food sustainability and plant-based expert Nil Zacharias, leading efforts at Effect Partners to serve up food justice through systems innovations, including Plantega.

We cannot achieve our goals of a more sustainable, equitable future using the same rules and tactics that brought us here, to the brink.

In this webinar, we’ll explore how a collective of cutting-edge food brands came together to address accessibility barriers in the food system. This exciting new initiative, called Plantega ([link removed]) , is on a mission to make sustainable, culturally-relevant plant-based foods more accessible to underserved communities through a network of independent corner stores in urban food deserts. After a wildly successful prototype, Plantega is now opening new locations throughout New York City and serving up hundreds of tasty plant-based sandwiches in neighborhood bodega’s every day.

Speakers:
* Erick Castro (Plantega ([link removed]) )
* Julie Emmett (Plant Based Foods Association ([link removed]) )
* Miyoko Schinner (Miyoko's Creamery ([link removed]) )
* Nil Zacharias (Moderator) (Food Systems Innovation at Effect Partner ([link removed]) ).
