Hi John,
Our local NIAC chapters have been hosting a series of exciting cultural events this year, and we’ve got more in the bag!
Make sure to RSVP for our next Open Mic on Sunday, September 26th at 5pm PT/8pm ET to celebrate our rich cultural and literary heritage. [[link removed]]
Hosted by NIAC Iowa , the event will feature acclaimed author Adib Khorram , whose book Darius the Great Is Not Okay earned a number of accolades, including the William C. Morris Debut Award, the Asian/Pacific American Award for Young Adult Literature, and a Boston Globe–Horn Book Honor.
As always, you're welcome to share your own poems and short stories, or simply show-up to listen to some of our talented chapter members! We highly encourage folks to share their favorite children's stories, poems, or reinventions of children's stories.
