As always, you're welcome to share your own poems and short stories, or simply show-up

Hi John,

Our local NIAC chapters have been hosting a series of exciting cultural events this year, and we’ve got more in the bag!

Make sure to RSVP for our next Open Mic on Sunday, September 26th at 5pm PT/8pm ET to celebrate our rich cultural and literary heritage.

Hosted by NIAC Iowa, the event will feature acclaimed author Adib Khorram, whose book Darius the Great Is Not Okay earned a number of accolades, including the William C. Morris Debut Award, the Asian/Pacific American Award for Young Adult Literature, and a Boston Globe–Horn Book Honor.

As always, you're welcome to share your own poems and short stories, or simply show-up to listen to some of our talented chapter members! We highly encourage folks to share their favorite children's stories, poems, or reinventions of children's stories.
