Hi again comrades! We know you just heard from us, but we have some big news and opportunities to get involved you might want to know about. Read on to learn about them!


** Santa Fe Brake Light Clinic - Sep. 18 @ Sweeney Elementary, 10AM - 3PM
------------------------------------------------------------
We've been working with our friends at Santa Fe Mutual Aid to put together a brake light clinic like the one we did way back in 2019. We just locked down a place and date for it: the Sweeney Elementary parking lot(501 Airport Road) on September 18, from 10AM to 3PM. We need volunteers for this event, for everything from fliering to fixing brake lights. If you'd like to help, even if it's just to post an Instagram story(we have images for that, thanks to the talented folks at SFMA), please email [email protected]! Thanks!


** PRO Act / GND4PS Phone Banks

Our comrades with the DSA Green New Deal team have an ask for us:


The Green New Deal for Public Schools ([link removed]) campaign wants YOU to stand up and fight against the disasters of climate change, public austerity, and union busting that are destroying our communities!


How can you join this movement? It’s easy! Phonebanks are already in motion throughout the month to demand this key investment and passage of the PRO Act! You can sign up here ([link removed]) . ** Mutual-Aid Working group

We're still looking for people who want to step up and work on more mutual-aid actions like the Brake Light Clinic. If you're interested, please email [email protected]. I'll schedule a virtual meeting where we can discuss what mutual-aid might look like for us and what we can begin working on. Thanks!
